Whoa boy, I just had a crazy idea. One that would probably not fly at such short notice, but what the heck, I’ve had crazy ideas that I’ve shared in blog posts and tweets before, and those led to Startup Weekend Columbus, Ignite Columbus and Wordcamp Columbus.
Here’s my idea. TechColumbus will be holding the Innovation Awards next week. Yes. Next week. I’ll be there promoting the event in exchange of a free ticket. Since I disclosed it, all you haters can’t now complain to the FTC on me. But I digress.
TechColumbus should have Dan Rockwell and I gather a few speakers to give Ignite talks to warm up the crowd before the event and during intermission.
We’ve had some pretty good tech related talks, and I think it would be cool to expose the tech big wigs to these cool people.
It’s short notice, but if TechColumbus is willing, I am.
