It was $100 for two of us to take what would've been an $8 cab ride. They were peddled by two beautiful Russian immigrants who leased out the pedicabs for $50 a day and everything beyond that was pure profit. I began to suspect by the end of the ride that transportation wasn't the only wares they had to sell so I got the "H" out of there $50 light but considered myself lucky. Hopefully, the pedicabs here will be much more competitive cost-wise. Good to know though. Man, I was in San Diego last month and took one of these pedicabs from the bar to another bar across town. We kind of suspected that when we were considering this as a business option. I think Columbus needs to be a bit more vibrant for something like this to really work and be profitable.
