Learn how to be a barista

Want to learn how to be a barista? My friend at Fine Repast blogged about this contest to be a barista 4 a day. I must admit, I didn’t see it. Sorry bud. I realized he posted about it after I received an e-mail from Rebecca about the contest. I’m glad she sent it to me because I’m always looking for post ideas.

Anyways, CrimsonCup Coffee & Tea is having this contest to learn how to be a barista. The winner gets to shadow CrimsonCup’s Chief Espresso Officer, Armando Escobar, and truly learn how to be a barista. I’m sure for true coffee lovers, this would be a treat.

Myself, I’m a Diet Coke / Diet Pepsi (whichever is on sale) kind of guy. I’ll drink coffee every once in a while. But I put in lotsa cream and sugar. If the kitchen area at work has any hot chocolate in stock, then I’ll throw a package in as well. I’m sure Armando is cringing as he read that. But, oh well. Anyways, check it out.
