The above photo is of the grape vines of Corazon, a Tartan Fields development in Dublin. I'm not sure if they make wine from the grapes, but there are some Vineyards in the Columbus area.
Ohio Wines list two vineyards:
Slate Run Vineyard in Canal Winchester and
Shamrock Vineyard in Waldo. (I don't think Georgetown Vineyards in Cambridge really qualifies as Central Ohio.) And
Alive! mentions
Willow Hill Vineyards and Winery in Johnstown. Looks like a field trip is in order.
UPDATE:
Shamrock's Twilight Dinners sounds like a fun event. I'd have to see what type of Veggie meal they have for my wife though.
