Tell me if socks are okay to wear with Teva’s

TevaOkay, I’ll admit that I’m not fashion conscious.  But now that summer is here, I like to wear my Teva’s and other sandal type shoes.  Occasionally I like to wear socks with them.  Especially with my leather sandals.

My wife recently told me that socks with sandals are a no-no.  She said that only dorks wear socks with sandals.  And I said, “What’s your point?”  Is she right?  Or can I comfortably go out in public with socks and Teva without worrying that others think I’m a dork?

    Believe your wife in this and all other fashion advice. Sandals and socks are just ridiculous, Not AS bad if you're wearing jeans or long pants that kinda hides them, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do not wear shorts with socks and sandals.

    It depends. If you look as if you are way too cool to worry about what others think, then you can pull it off. Otherwise, well, it's something that those looking for things to scoff at, will scoff at :)
