The Columbus Zoo, a great bargain for the family

Today, my six year old daughter called me at work and asked me if I wanted to go to the Columbus Zoo tonight for Family Night.  Being a member of the Zoo, I said why not.  And that’s what this post is about.  If you have kids, it would be a crime for you not to be a member of the zoo.

For $69 per year, you get unlimited free admission and free parking at the zoo for your family.  So going to the zoo for an hour or two is no big deal.  Just go, and entertain the kids for a bit.  But you don’t have to spend a whole exhausting day there.

  • Agreed! We bought my sister-in-law and her family a season pass as a Christmas present since they like to hit the zoo when they come into town. We get to go as their guests, so it works out for us too. ;)

    Plus, the zoo season pass also gives you discounts at like 100 other zoos around the country! Pretty awesome!
