Balanced Yoga – Cure for too much blogging

Balanced Yoga

Have you found yourself at the computer too much checking out all of Columbus’ blogs with an aching back, neck, arms, hands, etc.? The antidote for that is not too far away at Balanced Yoga. I’ve been going there for several years. Located off of High Street and E. Dunedin in Clintonville, Balanced Yoga is hidden between Pearls of Wisdom and Bryant Enterprises. If you go, keep your eyes peeled and watch out for the E. Dunedin denizens who treat the parking spaces on the street as their own personal property (they’ll try to tell you that you can’t park on Dunedin – just leave 6 feet between your car and their driveways and you’ll be fine). Perhaps they should sign up for several classes at Balanced Yoga.

I haven’t been to another yoga studio yet that does poses like “The Stevie Wonder Roll” and “Spirally Thing” and “The Triple Decker Downward Dog” all a la Beaker Prince. Balanced Yoga offers a great deal for new students – $45 for one month’s unlimited classes. If you go bring your mat and leave your shoes at the door.

By the way, even though I only practice yoga at home sporadically, the times that I do my practice, I feel great. I also believe it helped me in my recent golf outing at The Golf Club of Dublin.

Having 2 young kids, I don't get out golfing much. In fact, I just recently golfed for the first time this summer. Before I did, I did a couple of sun salutations. It really loosened me up. And I shot my personal best round.

Andy, that sounds like a great deal. I'll have to check it out. Right now, I'm just doing yoga at home, but I really want to start going to classes.
