Tina, thanks for the welcome. While I’m not new to blogging, I’m new to Columbus blogging.

I certainly agree with you that organizers don’t host their big concerts here because of economics. I was just basically complaining.

Anyways, I think the organizers could still do smaller events throughout the country to make us feel more included.

Despite my grumpiness, I am throughly enjoying the coverage on Bravo, NBC and Sirius.

Welcome to the local blogosphere, Wyliemac! I certainly didn’t scoop anyone on the Live Earth concert, but a link to local house parties was posted on my blog earlier this week.

Why don’t organizers have big concerts in the Heartland? Bottomline, because the Big Money isn’t in Central Ohio. If you were setting up a concert and wanted to maximize your attendance and profits, would you rather attract attendees from a population of more than 8 million (NYC) or a population of about 700K (Clumbs)?
