Film fundraiser, could we do this in Columbus?

Last fall I was in Carmel, California. While there I picked up a copy of Carmel Magazine. In it was the story of the film "Where's Marty?" Where's Marty? is no ordinary film. Instead of paying the actors and crew members, the producers charged them for their time and efforts. That's because the film also doubled as a fundraising effort. The story centers around two tourist who are brought together by Marty, a mysterious travel agent and arc-angel. Throughout the movie, Marty takes the lovers to locales like Fisherman's Wharf, Point Lobos and Oldtown Salinas. The film will be shown in local hotel rooms to lure tourists to the sites in the film. After reading the story I thought, that's a pretty neat idea.  I wonder if we could do something like that in Columbus.  I think there's a lot to see and do around Columbus that we could have a pretty compelling plot centered around the local spots and activities.  For example, here's one possible storyline:
Family from, say California or New York, find out that they will relocate to Columbus.  Thinking it a cowtown, they are not pleased.  With the kids moping around feeling sorry for themselves, the parents decide to elicit the help of their real estate agent.  The agent puts together a game like the Amazing Race and breaks the family up into teams.   The family then discovers Columbus as they play the game.  And in the end, they end up loving it.
Okay, where do I sign up?  Anyone else interested in this idea?
